On a Monday evening political talk show with Top Radio, renown media personality, Tamale Mirundi has revealed circumstances that cost his daughter, Molly Namatovu her life during labour.
A furious Mirundi blamed his daughter’s death squarely on the negligence of Mengo hospital doctors who he claims refused to administer an anti-clot injection to his then bleeding daughter. Tamale says that the doctors did not administer the injection because of the absence of the shs 600,000 funds they had asked for.
“These unprofessional doctors denied my daughter an injection because of just shs 600,000 as if it’s much money I could not afford”, Tamale Mirundi told his host, Dunstan Busuulwa a talk show moderator.
When asked about his next move on the crisis that led to his daughter’s demise, Tamale said he has the capacity to ruin the entire Mengo hospital if he wants to. “I can look for those doctors and hammer them. However, I am receiving anonymous SMS texts of people claiming to have killed my daughter with witchcraft”, he said. “But death is irreversible, I cannot appeal to God, I just have to move on”, he added.
Tamale Mirundi also partially blamed his arrogant personality for probably scaring away his deceased daughter from asking for his financial help in her labour preparations. “My deceased daughter feared me, her husband too did and this cost me a lot, I regret”, revealed Tamale.
