Kyadondo East Legislator Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu popularly known as Bobi Wine has called upon people who are close to President Museveni to always tell him the truth about the issues affecting the Locals across the country other than fronting their personal needs,
“I will request my brothers and sisters who are in position to reach the president; please tell him in the truth, tell him the real issues affecting local people because whenever we speak the truth, we are taken as the enemies of this country,” he said.
Appearing on a local TV station, Bobi wine noted that he was delighted to see the people of Uganda embracing the struggle for change across the country.
He also called upon Ugandans to open up their eyes to the truth and not to fall in the trap of leaders seeking selfish interests who only appear during election time and then disappear after being reelected.
Bobi wine also revealed that the struggle should not be put on him alone because he can speak for himself and also the other people whose voices need to be elevated, he however said that it is better to see the truth and tell the nation adding that the struggle is about millions of Ugandans who need change for a better life and services.
He also said the most fundamental issue in the cause of change is speaking the truth despite all the intimidations from the State, he urged the public to refrain from pinpointing fingers at one another especially during this crucial time of trying to bring the long-awaited change for Uganda.
